How to Export, Edit, and Bulk Publish Optimized Product Content (CSV)

The AI Product Optimizer lets you export optimized product content in bulk, edit it in a spreadsheet, and publish changes back to your store in just a few steps. This is useful if you want full control over AI-generated titles, descriptions, FAQs, or metadata before publishing.

This workflow is part of StoreRank’s AI Content Optimizer, which improves product content so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude can better understand and recommend your products.

Step 1: Export selected products

  1. Go to AI Product Optimizer

  2. Filter or select products with status In Review

  3. Click Export Selected

  4. Download the CSV file

The CSV includes both your original content and optimized content fields.

Step 2: Edit only the optimized fields

Open the CSV file in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet editor.

You can edit the following columns:

  • optimizedTitle

  • optimizedDescription

  • optimizedMetaTitle

  • optimizedMetaDescription

  • optimizedFeaturedImageAltText

  • generatedFAQs

  • optimizedProduct

Do not edit:

  • title

  • description

  • metaTitle

  • metaDescription

  • featuredImageAltText

These are your original product fields and we recommend to keep unchanged.

Only the optimized columns are used when publishing updates.

Step 3: Keep HTML formatting intact

If any optimized fields contain HTML (for example <p>, <ul>, <strong>):

  • Keep the tags in place

  • Only change the text inside them

  • Do not remove or restructure the markup

This ensures formatting remains correct when published.

Step 4: Upload your edited CSV

After editing:

  1. Return to AI Product Optimizer

  2. Upload your updated CSV in ‘More actions’ - ‘Import’

  3. The system replaces all optimized fields for the selected products

Your edits are now ready for publishing.

Step 5: Publish changes in bulk

To apply your updates:

  1. Select the products you edited

  2. Click Publish Selected

That’s it. Your optimized content is now live.

Bulk CSV editing is ideal if you want to:

  • Adjust tone or branding across many products

  • Refine AI-generated FAQs

  • Improve metadata before publishing

  • Review optimized content with a team

  • Apply structured edits at scale
