With the StoreRank MCP Server you can use StoreRank inside the AI tools you already work in, like Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor. Ask about your AI visibility, competitors and AI traffic, or let your AI tool optimize products and plan articles for you.

Available on the Pro, Growth and Scale plans, also during your free trial.

Step 1: Get your server URL and access key

  1. Go to Settings → MCP Server.

  2. Copy your server URL.

  3. Click Create access key and copy the key. It's only shown once, so save it somewhere safe.

Tip: create one key per AI tool. Then you can cut off one tool without affecting the others.

Step 2: Add StoreRank to your AI tool

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.

  2. Name it StoreRank, paste your server URL and click Add.

  3. Click Connect. In the StoreRank window, paste your access key and click Connect.

ChatGPT

  1. Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors and turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings.

  2. Click Create, name it StoreRank, paste your server URL and choose OAuth as authentication.

  3. In the StoreRank window, paste your access key and click Connect.

Claude Code

When you create a key, StoreRank shows a ready-to-run command. Paste it in your terminal. It looks like this:

claude mcp add --transport http storerank YOUR_SERVER_URL --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_KEY"

Cursor and other tools

Add a remote MCP server with your server URL. Send your access key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, or paste it when the StoreRank window asks for it.

What you can ask

  • "Which competitors show up in ChatGPT instead of us?"

  • "How much revenue did AI traffic bring in last month?"

  • "Which pages get the most visitors from ChatGPT?"

  • "Which Google searches lost clicks this month?"

  • "Start tracking these 3 questions in the Mentions Tracker."

  • "Plan 4 articles for next month based on my Google Search Console data."

  • "Optimize the products that need work and show me the changes."

What your AI tool can do

  • Read: AI visibility, mentions, competitors, cited sources, AI traffic and revenue, Google Search Console data, products and article topics.

  • Change: add, edit or stop tracked questions, add and schedule article topics, and optimize products.

  • Product changes are never published from chat. They show up in the AI Product Optimizer for you to review first.

  • Scheduled topics are written and published on their date, based on your Article Autopilot settings. Published articles can't be deleted from chat.

  • Your plan limits and credits are the same as in the app. Optimizing products uses optimization credits.

Remove access

Go to Settings → MCP Server and click Revoke next to a key. That tool loses access right away.

Something not working?

  • No MCP Server in your Settings: it's available on Pro and higher. Upgrade in Settings → Usage & Billing.

  • Can't connect: create a new access key and try again. Keys are only shown once, so you can't copy an old one.

  • Google Search Console questions don't work: connect Google Search Console in StoreRank first.
